The example below demonstrates how a considerable amount of consumer research is integrated together with a great degree of internal research. Generally in B2B or other non mass consumer situations, we recommend focusing resources on internal study (peer interviews, employees workshops, discussions with key customers or stakeholders, etc.) . Even in heavily consumer driven organizations we find that often only a minimal amount of primary research is necessary because existing research can provide much of the needed direction and insight.
